Guy got escorted out of the Tavern. Went to his bike and started shooting at the cops. Mixed reports that he is dead but two people were down in front of the Soda Shoppe is what I hear.

Christmas night 2012 (I think) two kids were killed in Old Town and about eight others were shot. Slidell is a known heroin den.
People on here try and say Slidell is no worse than Mandeville or Covington. That's a joke.

That Oxy problem has gotten that heroin moving. We all know the place has gone down post Katrina. It is only a matter of time before Mandy and Covington follow if they don't do something about it.

Slidell has always had a huge drug problem. I graduated the class before Katrina from Salmen. Difference now is the crap has pushed in from Nola East in terms of violence. I honestly feel more safe going out to my local spots in Nola than I would in old town.
