That was a great effort. Props to the officer.

But as others have said, dry hay and wet hay are two different worlds.

Yup, it's not as hard as it looks. I've done it. If it were baled green for baleage then I'd be more impressed.

I mean I wouldn't go that far.

But I agree it is something a man should be able to do.

I learned my lesson as a youngster. Driving too fast with the hay trailer through the pasture and dropped one where it wasn't supposed to be.

Dad atrength can only be trumped by embarassed teenager strength. I got that bale back onto the trailer before my paw paw saw it. Probably took ten years off my life doing it

Baw got home, told his wife and she immediately clouded up because she wanted to talk about her feelings.

That's a 1500 to 1700 lb load he moved there. That man eats his Wheaties with whole milk and eats his steaks rare.

If by 80% you mean 15% you'd be correct. If you wrap a round bale at 80% moisture it will get moldy then spontaneously combust as it smolders from inside out.

Good way to lose the whole hay stack or barn.

ETA I see you said "cut hay" so i may be misinterpreting your statement. But my point still stands with wrapping high moisture hay.
