Plumber question: jetted tub won't shut off

Wife filler our tub, turned it on to run it and clean it, but it would not turn off. I removed the service panel and unplugged it. Now everytime I plug it in, it jumps on automatically.
I checked the pneumatic air tube and switch and it holds pressure. Coupling this check with the fact it jumps on when plugged in leads me to believe the sensor/switch in the pump is stuck open/on somehow. Blew some air to clean out all ports, but no difference.
Anyone have experience with this?

sounds like you need an electrician, not a plumber.

Sounds like an electrical issue

I would check the on/off switch first. sounds like it is stuck closed.

Typically plumbers install the pumps and electricians stop at the installation of the wall receptacle.

With the rubber handle of a larger screwdriver tap on the box/area where the pneumatic tube goes in, test again.

Just turn off the GFI that feeds the Jacuzzi

Similar problem a few months ago, I shut it off at the breaker and turned it back on. Works like a dream.
