Plowing through protesters question?

Let's say a group of people are blocking I-10. Shoulder to shoulder holding hands and shite. These people don't like whites or cops and could possibly be hostile. What's the legality of driving a Dodge Ram 2500 with a ranch hand on the front at , let's say 75mph right up there arse
What would happen legally
What should you do after doing it. Notify police or just go back and make a clean up lap?

You're going to have a hard time getting off for murder.
Now if you slow down and they start bashing in your windows, trying to pull you out of the vehicle, etc... then IMO you have every right to run over some people.

ETA: Im kidding obviously. But I really would like to know what law is being broken for not yielding or stopping for a dumbarse protest with people illegally blocking a major roadway.

So you can drive through them? 75 May be a little fast. With my Wife and kids in the car I'm not going to idle through to give some one a chance to harm family.

If all they're doing is standing there (and not being aggressive towards you), you would be jailed.

I don't plan on stopping, I'll slow down to give them time to move, but if they still don't move, sucks for them.

I have not seen where someone plowed through or the results at at least. I saw where in Minnesota someone was fined 500 dollars for doing it but seem like most are not charged with anything. In some cases the people blocking the road were charged broken legs and all.. now it's def best to just not do it of course.

The interstate is not made for pedestrian travel.
It is illegal for them to be there.
Drive through at a calm speed. If they damage your vehicle call the cops..
Use your phone to video incident, that seems to be better than a police report as gospel

If you are justified in pulling out a gun and shooting them in the face then you can drive right over them. Otherwise, it's murder. Well established that driving over someone is use of a deadly weapon. Unfortunately, if they are just blocking the road you can't do shite but wait on the police to come beat them like baby seals.

Just a quick Google search shows that this has happened an alarming amount of times. Maybe BRPD is really protecting these people a whole hell of a lot more than they realize by keeping them off the streets.
