They basically admitted that they want her gone because she is a relic of the Guillory Admin and then used two examples which are completely unrelated to city police.
The sad suicide of SHERIFF deputy and an officer supposedly choking a black man at the Scott Boudin Festival. Neither have anything to do with the Lafayette police chief.

Guillory made several questionable appointments but the police chief seems to be a good fit. At least things appear to be running smoothly.
