16 yo daughter wants to get a part time job. Know most places want them to be at least 18, but what places do you know of that will still hire 16 year old high school students?

Most restaurants will hire her as a host

GameStop hired me when I was 16. I mean, it's a shitty paying job and she'll get like 1-2 days a week in the beginning but there you go.

Hooters HOST, not the girls in the orange shorts. The ones in the white shorts. That is if she's hot. I'm being serious also

Put her to work at a movie theater so she can get you in for free.

We used to hire high school kids at canes. Pretty good first job and worked around the kids schedule.

well, good for her...most kids nowdays don't have any interest in getting a job of any kind. there will be some turnover as the summer ends, as most kids quit when school starts.

Most places hire at 16. At that age it's more about "where do I want to get free stuff / a discount at?" look at smoothie places or snowball stands or pizza places

Raising Canes.
They also aggressively promote from within. If I didn't want to be a CPA and own my own practice, I would have had zero issue sticking with them. Great company.

Friend of ours in HS would bring the end of day Arby's sandwiches when he got off work on the weekends.
One night we had just started on them when he received a call. Got shite canned.
They throw them away at the end of the day too I thought. Guess they believe in slippery slope or something I don't know.
