Actually video of incident occurs about 2 minutes in...hilarious. Those country boys weren't playin' around with those rainbow sissy boys.

Story and Video

quote:

The object of the competition is for the team to wrestle the muddy, slippery pig into the barrel in the shortest amount of time.

All was going well until a group of protesters in rainbow-colored wigs breached the pen. It’s not clear whether they were looking for a fight or to rescue the slimy pig.

Video shows some shoves between the wrestlers and protesters and one who breached the pen being promptly ejected head over heels.

quote:

The man’s wig flew off and he quickly got up a slinked away, likely embarrassed to be manhandled during his seemingly brilliant stunt.

KUTV speculates about the successful wrestling of the protester, “it is possible those actions will bring assault charges.”

I bet those boys were waiting for the rainbow hairs to leave the fairgrounds for a proper beat down...

That could be a new event for next year, hippie slinging.

I'm no animal rights activist but that whole thing does seem obnoxious and cruel.

You ever eat a pork chop?

They're just 'rasslin with a piggy. Piggy don't get hurt.

Just like you can sling a husky girl around a little harder because of the padding.

Does anyone really care about the feelings of protesters? I'd value the pigs opinion over those liberal dumbasses.

It's cruel to a pig to eat it after its dead?

Would you be ok if they were doing that exact thing to your pet dog?

That one activist they interview. IWHI.

I'd almost consider acting like one of them to earn her trust, ala Dennis in It's Always Sunny.

A dog's got personality. And personality counts for a lot.

Aren't pigs supposed to be pretty intelligent? And becoming quite popular as pets? Don't know where I stand here, but your comment bothered me.

Occasionally yes, and I even plan on raising a few on my little homestead next year. Doesn't mean I'll be wrestling them, but I'm intrigued to hear your retort.
