The alumni association is suddenly trying to get people to pay dues. Uh... For what?

As a RHS alumn I'm not disappointed about the decision. When I was there early 2000's it was a decent school, not great but decent. I think we had a national merit finalist or 2 in my graduating class. From what I gathered after Central gained it's own school district the school went to poop. If the numbers don't match up then why keep the school open. On top of that facilities were sub par when I was there. The Middle school side smelled like a dump and the gym did not have an AC. RHS was due for a new face lift. If the diocese wanted to build a brand new school in South BR I would support that decision.

Graduated in 91 and love the school. Either move it or let it die.

That "insert explicit word" Verges never took the school serious at all. She ride on St Mikes all day and adores CHS/St Joes (which isn't even under her rule).

The sad thing overall is that the current students are even gonna get guarenteed admission into another catholic school....the diocese just threw these kids to the curb

I would give them a few bucks but again I no longer live in BR.

I'm sure my mother and father would hand over a nice donation though.

That is a low rent move. If they had the grades they should be granted an automatic transfer
