Pick Three Places Anywhere Where You Would Buy A Home

Premise: You will win $10 Billion but in order to collect it, you must buy 3 homes anywhere in the world, using that money and living off the rest of the money leftover. The homes can be all in one city or scattered across the globe. Your choice, rich man.
Preferably, post them with pics, but if you can't, still list them and explain why you chose those destinations.
(I asked this on Rivals.com message board about a decade ago, and I'm just curious if the varied choices will fall into the same categories even a decade later. Most picked a watery paradise, a mountainous view, and a place with ties to "home"/family.))

What kind of a hypothetical is this? It’s not a matter of extortion for me to buy 3 houses if I get 10 billion dollars: I will buy at least 3 houses regardless. Guess it’d be the following:
Mansion on the outskirts of Denver
Cabin in Aspen
Condo in Oxford
Lake house in Arkansas
Beach house in Florida
EDIT: If the hypothetical is I have to buy 3 homes before getting the 10 billion, then I’ll buy 3 pieces of shite in Rock Springs WY for $100 a month, and once I get the 10 billion buy the houses I put up there.
