I was 16. Cursing at my father. He blindsided me. Only time I have been hit so hard I saw stars. I beat the garbage out of him. Definitely not proud of that.

In my mid twenties. Needed money to buy a thermostat for my car. Younger brother loaned me a few bucks. Compained that I bought one with a gasket when I did not need one. Got in a huge fistfight over it. Absolutely stupid. Fought to a bloody draw and destroyed a polo shirt my wife had bought me.

When I was 16 I walked into a local bar/restaurant and my estranged father began being mouthy.

I remember seeing red and sending him skidding into the parking lot. Apparently he said something I took offense to, there was about a 6 inch and 70lb size disparity, and I don't remember grabbing him and throwing him out the door and over a parking pipe barrier, but it happened.

I grabbed my to go order and walked outside and the sonofabitch took a blind swing at the first person to walk outside.

Cops saw him take the swing, and congratulated me on taking the punch and delivering a very vicious shoulder to his face.

To this day, I have no idea what he said to make me that angry. I'm a seriously calm guy.

Yeah, no. I have a fairly extensive posting history. Not overly interesting, but extensive.

Bottom line, start to throttle down on the drinking. I would anticipate you have to work tommorrow.

haven't had to. but have come close a few times.

once was a shithead cousin of ours living in a trailer on family land for free (not his part of the families land). He decided he would start a weed farm on my grandfather's land. We burned it down finding it while hunting. Gave him a warning. Then we found out a few weeks later he was stealing medication from our dying grandparent's. he was told to disappear and never come back again. he complied.

another time was a fatass, loudass, know it all, bible thumping cousin of mine who decided it was his business to enter my little brother's house and tell him he was going to hell for letting his fiancee live there with him. i left a unpleasant voicemail for said cousin and he hasn't said shite yet.

and for those who are so elite and high class to never have shitty family members to fricked up shite. congrats, you must be really proud.

My uncle did punch my grandmother (his mom) in the face at my grandfather's funeral. That was pretty bad. Needless to say that we do not associate with that uncle.

That seems like grounds for a swift and immediate beat down.

I tried my Dad once and only once when I was about 17. I came home drunk and popped off to my mom, took a swing at Pops, (Golden Glove boxer and Korean Special Ops vet). He knocked my arse through a wall. I woke up the next morning and the contractor was fixing the drywall.

Fast forward to about 10-12 years ago, my 17 year old son tried me after disrespecting his Mom. I leg swiped his arse and he fell to the hardwood floor. I pinned the side of his head to the floor with my knee and said..."I'm gonna let you up and this is over unless you want some more". He said, "Yes Sir".

The younger brothers saw that and they never tried me. Lucky for me.

Me and my old man have got drunk and thrown hands at least once a year since I was eleven. Just part of being a man.

Five pages and Paul's failed to tell us what was the cause of the altercation he failed to detail in the OP?

So much fail delivered here.
