Y'all quit using that shite. You sound like idiots, or at least like idiots that use words you don't understand to make it seem like you're not an idiot
Because you're ignorant and don't know what it means, the rest of us should stop using it properly? Your OP is embarrassing.

You've never heard of a waxing moon? Waxing crescent, waxing gibbous?

When speaking specifically about the moon, yes I've used the word waxing as a description, because that's exactly what the first half of the moon phase is called: a waxing crescent, then waning gibbous after the full moon. However it sounds ridiculous when using waxing to describe yourself in the way I described it in the OP. I listen to talk radio a lot, and that term is way overused.

Talk about sweating the small trivial shite. What kind of person lets something like this annoy them so much that they have to anonymously bitch about it on a message board? "

The same kind that reads it and then takes the time to comment about it.

Over using “absolute” is much more of a problem.

Oddly enough, on the musical track 'Tusk' by Fleetwood Mac, you hear the bassist clearly say it.

So ahead of his time.

"Gigs" as a way to say "data."

"Unlimited" used as a noun.

So I had to look up the origin of that term:

Sorry your vocabulary is so limited. Everybody else already knew what the word meant and where it comes from. 'waning' is also part of our normal vocabulary.
It is OK to need to look up words every now and then... but don't start a thread about English being too hard for you.
