Before anyone gets too wrapped up in this, the creator of the apps says herself that it's meant to be tongue-in-cheek.
That being said, you know there are plenty of people who saw this app, and thought it was a legitimate, brilliant idea.

If I went out to dinner with someone and they legitimately suggested we use this I'd walk out and leave them with the whole bill

Probably says a lot about me that I immediately thought about the waiter/waitress and how fricking pissed they would be to divide checks like this
