Even setting aside what she did to that photographer student, it is pretty problematic that there are a lot of Clicks on public university campuses.
Meaning, they are not there to teach. They are there to explore abstract and bizarre subjects, very few of which will truly expand the horizons of these students (much less prepare them for the professional world). More troubling, they are intent on either reliving (or making up for their missing out on) the radical periods of the 60s and 70s that they idolize.
When I was in school, I remember professors getting livid and demanding that the school revoke an invitation to Clarence Thomas to speak. It's just baffling to me how many of them act as though they're employed as activists to engage in their own ideological crusades, rather than as faculty trying to instill skills or knowledge.

Correct me if I'm wrong, OT people.
This is correct. The Journalism school would have removed her from that post. It was only a small part, and she is still employed by the school of communications. Likely wont be employed for very long IMO.
