Do any of you single baws rock personal business cards outside of your day job biz cards? I am thinking about getting some made; name, addy/po box, and email. Thoughts? Is this ridiculous? Totally Normal? My work phone is on my work card, but wanted something to pass out. I'm a single guy, mid thirties.

If so, any good companies in nola where I can get this done? TIA

They are called contact cards. The people that create cards are called letterpress printers. I have heard good things about Grove Street Press in Nola

If you're in the rap game, these are a must. Especially if you are a producer

Everyone having a smartphone in their pocket has eliminated the need for a business card.

Yea,but wouldn't you want your place of business on the card so you look more stable?

Not for people with big boy jobs.

Then you meant a calling card, not a business card.

It seems kinda weird unless you have a reason.

I'm a drummer. So when I move back to Nola, I want aggressively pursue gigs and bands. I've never known anyone besides artists and musicians that did this.

If you're just going to give them to chicks you're trying to bang, it better be funny as hell, or it will come off douchey.

My uncle told me about him doing this when I was 14. I knew he was never getting laid even then with that schtick.
