Annoying AF

Mostly people at work. Not even to a song...just making making noise. Like little, morning, chirping birds.

Stop with all that joyfulness.

There is a guy at my work who thinks he is Conway Twitty or something and sings country songs while walking the halls.

Used to work with a guy who would whistle just to piss people off. Only guy I ever worked with that legitimately made me worry he'd go postal at some point. Anytime somebody would say something about it, he come back with, "If I gotta breathe, might as well whistle". Was a happy fricking day when he got transferred.

frick you. I'll whistle when and where I want. The fact that I'll now be doing it a little out of spite makes it even more joyful.

A friend of mine is a heck of a whistler. He said he was always able to mimic the notes of a song. Can’t read music but sure can whistle a tune.

I was in my office one stressful day and I kept hearing whistling from down the hall. After about 15 minutes, I go to the hall and say "Who's whistling?"

A guy that worked for me came out of his office and said "I was. Is that okay?"

I said "No. Stop. Jesus."

And I stormed back into my office.

Always felt bad about that. He was a good guy.

The act of whistling is a micro-aggression that has deep-seated roots in systemic racism
