People Obsessed With Juicy Crab Type Restaurants

"Juicy Crab" and "Juicy Crawfish" type restaurants are all the rage in places not even considered coastal. Parking Lots always packed in Atlanta metro area. They throw your food in a plastic bag and shake it up with butter and garlic and serve it in that bag. Mostly owned by Korean immigrants. Do these places exist anywhere else? For the record, I'd never eat that shite!

I’m surprised that there haven’t been more news stories about brawls at these places because someone feels they got shorted on their order compared to the other table.

Yes, good for a shooting in the parking lot once a month.

I've never seen these types of places.

They’re steadily expanding across the south now. You see them all over Houston and they are all overpriced and attract a certain clientele.

We have them in Texas, as far as I can tell they are hardly all the rage, however. Additionally, at least where I’m at, the best crawfish is almost always Viet-Cajun.

I am very selective on where I will go for seafood. I've never been to Joe's Crab Shack, Red Lobster, or any of the other nationwide chains...I guess growing up in S. la has spoiled me.

We had a bunch pop up here and then they've started closing because it became oversaturated really quick.
We tried Pier 17 and it was just meh.
Darnell Ferguson (local chef on Food Network) has a place in West Louisville I'd be willing to try that's a similar concept but has a ton of other stuff too. That's it though at this point.
