Every gym has them.
Are you under any obligation to say anything to them?

I depends on your morals. I like to help people if and when the opportunity presents itself.

If it's a youngster/teenager then yes. Most people never receive proper instruction when it comes to resistance training and weightlifting so they don't know any better. I know of too many young guys who could potentially hurt themselves later on in life as a result of poor form or technique.
I am inclined to include women in this group. However, the majority of the time if you offer a suggestion or some advice to a female at a gym she automatically assumes you are hitting on her or being condescending with your remarks.
Meanwhile, if it's a grown man then frick them. Most of that isn't ignorance as much as it is blatant stupidity or stubbornness. As long as they continue to ignore gym protocol and etiquette then I don't feel compelled to assist them in anyway.

When going heavy on dumbbell bench without a spotter do you bros slowly lower the weights to the floor after the set or do the turn and sit up with the weights still in hand? Because I suck at the latter and feel like I'm going to frick my rotator cuff with the former
