I'm careful all day, everyday, baw. However, I appreciate the concern. It does look to be a bad day.

i usually figure it's going to be half as bad as the weathermen say. They get their rocks off to this stuff so bad that they tend to exaggerate.

Kind of like last year when they failed to predict the flooding in Northern Louisiana and Southern Louisiana?? That kind of prediction?

Bump for those who are going to be in for a long night.

Already a mom and child died. Expect more. These will be common events every year here in Louisiana for the foreseeable future.

Tornadoes have been common events in Louisiana every year since weather records have been kept.

It's just that now everyone carries a camera with them and photos and videos of storms are made available for everyone to see on the internet within minutes of being taken.

That isn't my point.

My point has to do with storms producing so much rain so fast. We are expecting the same type flooding we had last year in certain parts of the state.

Someone explain to me, since they are so smart, why our systems come and sit down on top of us for hours on hours and just stops moving. It hits a wall and the storm just grows.

I feel for the people down south and those who will be affected most. My heart goes out to them all.

Are you trying to tell us that it is going to rain a lot in a state that averages over 5 feet of rain a year?

NO WAY!!

Seriously, you look foolish.
