Oh, your child has a fever of 99.5F and you thought bringing him to the ER at 3AM was the proper thing to do?

You are obviously a fantastic parent.

Oh, your kid had diarrhea today, but he is currently running around the ER at 4AM?

Who allowed you to have children?

Pick the dumbest thing you can think of.

There is your answer.

One of my favorites is, "he hasn't been eating,' and I stand there watching him eat a bag of Cheetos.

It's because 2AM is PIIHB time (gender neutral).

Scruffy should give them an aspirin and send them all home.

That is another good one in the Peds ER.

"He hasn't had a dirty diaper."

"When is the last time he went?"

"Yesterday. He hasn't gone today though."

Scruffy doesn't give them anything unless warranted.

The cost of everything is ballooned in the ER. If people had to pay a small percentage for all ER visits, the non-emergent crap would be cut down.

A couple of months ago my dad had an accident during the night that required stitches. He waited until morning so as not to inconvenience the ER staff. You're welcome.

Same thing happened to my son a few years ago.. Had the wife take him to regular Dr the next morning instead of midnight ER visit.

"I just cant sleep" - UDS positive for meth

"Toothache" - you wouldnt go see you dentist for a heart attack...so why go to ER for a toothache"

"I dont have a doctor" - many people use the ER as their primary care, when asked about Obamacare...never heard of it

I agree 100% that people should pay X amount towards a ER visit. I'm sure that would cut down ER visits a lot.

OLOL had me wait 3 hours waiting, laying on the floor with a bad back. I was in tears that I was in so much pain. There was no way I could sit in a chair. Once they got me to the back and did a cat scan, they were like, hey, no wonder you are in pain, you have a bulging disk.

Ended up spending three days in the hospital till they did a steroid block which was almost instance relief.

You would be amazed at the length of time people will wait in the ER for stupid shite.

I've seen 4-5 hour waits for a rash.

People are incredibly ignorant when it comes to their health and what qualifies as a serious injury or illness.

They're afraid the smallest thing could lead to their death if it's not dealt with immediately. This is nothing new.

Heck, that night/morning, I would of gave my manhood to get relief from the pain I was in.

Kind of sucks seeing a 58 year old man laying on a floor crying like a baby. No one even came to see WTF was going on.

After that, there is no way I will ever use OLOL again. Thanks Obamacare.
