Any tips or advice on best way to park vehicles inside or outside of garage? I’ve heard park inside garage and back it up against the door to hold the integrity of the door. I’ve also heard park outside parallel to the door.
Any help appreciated… and of course! You baws be safe!

For Andrew, our garage door appeared to be breathing. We pushed both vehicles so the bumpers were against the door and that helped stabilize it. It didn't blow off or in so I guess it worked.

Not a bad idea in concept but the door will be moving in and out depending on wind direction so I would put a cushion or blanket between the bumper and the door so you don't get scratches.

I'd rather have my car inside than outside if possible.

I would put a piece of plywood up next to the door, then put a blanket, door mat or something to protect the vehicle bumper.
If no plywood, use a couple of boards. Maybe tie the boards to the door to hold them in place.

Never thought about it but this makes the most sense. Highest pressure on a building is sucking out so if you can disrupt the wind flow in front of the garage your actual wind speed will be reduced.

For Laura, a lot of people’s garage doors blew in, might have trouble getting a vehicle out after the storm. I parked parallel with my doors as well, work for that door.
