Kids can opt out of PARCC testing. Jindal allowed this. However, the school will get a zero for that kid even though the school has to allow any kids to opt out that want to. It is a huge mess for the schools and their hands are completely tied. I know they say the scores will be curved but a zero is a zero. It will impact school performance scores no matter how you look at it. Curve or no curve.
