very glad to hear that your trip to Alaska was a memorable one...I need to do that myself one of these days.

also glad to hear that your treatments are progressing in a positive direction...hang in there.

Thanks for the update. Come back and let us know your progress periodically...or just stay and post like the regulars!

I'm happy you experienced the Nothern Lights. I saw them a couple of time on my trip. There was never a spectacular display of color, but even kind of washed out, they have a very ethereal and otherworldly aspect to them. I found them very calming, almost hypnotic. I didn't make it to Chena Hot Springs, but have only heard good things. I'm glad it lived up to your expectations.

I'm sorry to hear that radiation has been a grind for you, but you're almost finished. After next week, you can enjoy the rest of the Spring. Please take care and know that you have many people praying for you and pulling for you. Can't wait to read your June update after your successful surgery. Be well!

Thank you for sharing this. I'm looking forward to another update on your bucket list adventures and your inspirational battle.

Your radiologist said you could beat this and he/she knows that it's possible. Physicians try their best to be realistic, but people with cancer don't have definite expiration dates. Keep fighting!

I know someone who had surgery (not whipple) to remove much of the pancreas, followed by the chemo and radiation like you describe. The process was not a cake walk, but they are now doing very well more than a year out.

I'm pulling for you.

Of course you can have more thoughts and prayers

Keep fighting no matter what. As long as your breathing, you still have the ability to fight.
