Why? Both have a lot of the same symptoms. Both are rarely fatal.

If the drugs help people lose weight why does anyone give a shite? Are some going to go back to where they were before after they stop using? Sure. Are some going to use this as a tool for lifestyle change? I’m betting many will.

This board hates fat people because to them it’s only a self esteem issue. Or laziness. Fat lazy people? Plenty of them. Fat people that take medication to help them lose weight and make lifestyle changes to keep it off and enjoy a better life thus saving themselves and other money in the long run? This board should be cheering them on and offering assistance instead of the usual Joe Atlas kick sand in the face.

Maybe help a fat kid instead of berating him. Even if it would be just eat less and move more many people just don’t even know that for Christ’s sake. Many people just don’t understand how to eat or have the family life or school life that actually gives a shite or knows how to help.

But then again this board thinks there are no disadvantaged people in this country. Just poor and lazy fricks that aren’t as toned as them.
