I'm in healthcare and think free healthcare is stupid AF, but this example is ludicrous.
He'd be fine if this happened in Canada.
Also, this kid is probably fricked. His brain probably has severe damage from swelling and I'm sure the ingredients going through his feeding tube have led to malnutrition on top of this which worsen everything.

I remember the story that came out about this guy was really fishy. He had some phony speech he gave about the CIA using him through some club at the U of Virginia to spy on North Korea. It was obvious that the North Koreans made him say it.

While I'm certain he was coerced into giving that statement, I'm still not ruling out him being used by the CIA.

I just went back and reread his statement. I like that he read it word for word, which clearly shows that he didn't write it.
