Water, towelettes, and nuts/candy are now on the list. I don't think people would appreciate seeing me in yoga pants, however.

Make sure you have music, movies, headphones, and a way to recharge whatever you use. After that, you should be good. Maybe a book if you like to read. Maybe some melatonin if you want sleep.

International flights like this one then yeah I can see it. I have chargers for everything and a backup battery pack that can fully charge my phone and ipad. iPad lasts forever.

Just go to sleep. I did it before all this technology. Wake up eat breakfast and you are there. The ride back sucked more for me. I couldn't sleep and it is an hour longer

I have Mophie juice pack plus on both my phones as well. I really only use that on my iPads but it will charge anything but my MacBook.

I did London to Nelson in September.
I didnt watch a movie for 6 months at the cinema, and I went to town on the movies. (I also didn't sleep at all on either leg because I was just watching films )
The only thing I learnt was Airbus>Boeing.
Everything is free on the plane for long haul flights so I dont see the need to "have" to buy drinks or anything before hand.

Booze for sure. I can't get on an international flight without the hope of getting absolutely shitfaced. How anyone tolerates a 13 hour flight without booze and pills I'll never know.
