It is a VERY dangerous and hard game of gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time.
Takes years to learn your body and train it to get that way.
I still struggle with it after 8 years of competing and training my body

If you are wanting to lose weigh, maintain a protein to carb ration of 1.5 g protein : 1 g carbs (when you get to where you want to maintain it can go to 1:1.

I can't really give you anything concrete to follow.
I don't know your limitations with diet, weight background, etc..
I would consult a nutritionist for expert advice.
I can only recommend eating lean protein, complex carbs to an extent, lean fats, and get plenty of exercise.

Only 5'8 here. Bulked up to 186...then cut my weight all the way back the mid-140s. Stayed there for the last 3 years. Now I'm finally bulking again...cleanly. Have been bulking since October. Just trying to keep bodyfat in the lower double digits. I'm now getting close to 170 pounds.
My breakfast every morning is a scoop of whey isolate, oats, and banana blended into a smoothie. And I generally eat most of the same meals throughout the day because it's easy to keep track of my calorie intake.

And I track everything I eat on myfitnesspal. Logging for over 900 days in a row. If you want to gain and/or lose, keep track of everything. It makes all the difference.

My bodyfat percentage is probably around 11 or 12%. I want to get it back to 10%, but for shite's sake it's tough to maintain. I don't know how I did it.

Thanks. I plan on it. I even track when bulking so as not to overindulge. After getting ripped, I didn't want to lose those abs. But I said to hell with it and decided I wanted to bulk.

Next, kill the protein shake for breakfast. It's a waste at that time. Being that it's protein in a liquid form, your body is going to process it and dispose of it at a rate faster than it can absorb the protein. You'll literally piss it out. Save the shake for the 30 minute anabolic window that follows a workout.
At that time, your muscles are broken down and protein synthesis is just beginning to repair them. Your muscles basically become a sponge and soak up that protein shake, save the shake for post workout.

excellent advice, thank you.

As for breakfast, I personally carb load in the morning
I'm going to buy intek and carboline after work today, so I would do a half scoop of carboline in the morning and then a full scoop of intek within 30 minutes of finishing my workout...is that a solid plan?
