Looking for a nice watch in the $300-400 dollar range. I was looking at a few Victorinox Swiss army watches. Anyone have any experience with them? Other recommendations in this price range? This is the one I am looking at:

Thoughts? Recommendations?

What do you want in a watch? You just like that 3 dial chrono look?

I've been eyeing the AirBoss for a while now. If I ever splurge on a watch, this will be it

If you find a new Tag in that price range, let me know.

I don't want to spend a grand+ on a watch.

I have an older one and like it. Its a simple, yet nice looking watch.

I like the stainless look and not looking for a ton of function. I do like the chronos most.

Then that watch is pretty much exactly what you are looking for.

I have the Chrono XLS Victorinox. I really really like it. The band is fantastic and it looks great. The band is a little heavy though, so be careful what you wish for with all stainless.

I ordered this one last week. Should be coming in soon. Victorinox Alliance Mechanical. It can be found for a little over your $400 mark online.

They seem to have a good reputation with quality. Do you hear the same?

Thank for the input everyone.

Broke, what does a plain, old school Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date run these days? I have one that I don't wear much. Kind of a keepsake/gift from back in the day. Gold face, gold/stainless bracelet.

Pretty much like this:

That looks like a really good buy. I just saw Jomashop had them for like 460ish. Very good price for a swiss made automatic with sapphire.

I would think between 3k-4k if selling.

I have one and like it a lot. It's a brown leather band with the chrono face.

I got the white face / silver bracelet combo from Jomashop for $440. I'm a little concerned that it will not have the factory warranty but I couldn't pass it up for that price.

Don't be. I got mine from Joma and while the warranty is nice from the factory, it will not be needed. Jomashop has their own anyway.

Around $3500 I think.
