Thought so. I didn’t start out in artillery. In fact all of my active duty and most of my time in the guard was spent as a 19K. Only my last few years was I a 13B. I didn’t think I’d like it at first. But I ended up loving it.

I hear ya.still got some good tanker friends when I was with 270th armor. I was a 19delta joined a week after 9/11.

That’s the guard unit I joined when I came off active duty in 93 In the late 90s they transitioned to 2/117 FA. That’s how I became a red leg.

These are my guys, but I'm civilian. Best group of badass counter-terrorist specialists you could imagine.
