IMHO, a Cayenne is sized between a Q5 and a Q7. Smaller than a ML, but bigger than a GLK. Headroom is tight

So ok from a reliability perspective? I just don't want something that's in the shop a lot.

He just bought it maybe two months ago. It's beautiful. He also bought my mom a brand new Acura MDX, and it's cool comparing the two. The Cayenne is just a beautiful vehicle. It's really comfortable.

GTS or Turbo OP? All the others can suck a cawk. We had an early model Turbo. That bitch was quick.

I've had one for four years that I am now selling. I enjoyed the Cayenne. It was fun to drive and was extremely reliable. At 140000 miles it is still bone dry underneath. It had the usual issues but every car has those.

Happy to answer any questions you might have.

Thanks vab. Any feedback on the 2014 model? I thinking about getting the S for Mrs SVT to replace her ML 350.

I like the changes they made to the interior in 2011 which I think still hold mostly. The S is a good choice. What options are you looking at? It's very responsive for an SUV and the feel of the road through the steering wheel is something I miss with my Audi. It's hard to describe but I feel more connected to the road driving the Porsche.

I'd get a base model, because it's the only luxury SUV available with a manual.

Truth here. They were designed by Porsche for women. A coworker owns one and shared this little nugget with me. She's about to buy another one if that helps in your decision making.

Yep, read that forum already. Trying to solicit more opinions. I always find the OT verdict to be better than other internet sources.
