Look at Saddleback leather, they make some excellent products.

ETA: Seems I'm late to the Saddleback party.

I like the open hinge top style (sometimes called doctor's bag or something) although they generally have too formal of a look.

I'm not saying this to be condescending, but it is Genuine Leather. Which is leather-ish.

That thing is straight out of the early 90s.

ETA: As opposed to fightin tigers above, I definitely intended my comment to be condescending.

Will Leather Goods Hank Satchel- Tan

I got this one as a Christmas gift a couple years ago. The leather has really broken in nicely.

Another vote for Saddleback. I use the brief and it's gotten lots of compliments and held up very well with regular milking (TWSS).

Are we calling laptop bags briefcases again? Just looking at the screen shots and these are all laptops bags. This is a briefcase.

I like the La Portegna Fat Carter. Really a fantastic bag. Saddleback and Filson make great stuff, but a little heavy and rugged for the office in my opinion.

Frank Clegg, Swaine, Adeney & Brigg, Chester Mox, Ortus, all make fantastic bags.
