No. California as a state votes Republican 40 percent of the time, and only 48 percent say they support higher taxation. I'm sure people that are mobile oppose higher taxation at even higher rates.
Nashville proper is split between conservatives and liberals. Californians coming in are not affecting that.

I've been in Williamson for a decade. New neighbors are from San Francisco. Invited us and our kid over for an Easter Egg hunt last Saturday with their kids. Cooked hot dogs and had lots of beer. Don't give a frick who they voted for they are going in the good neighbor box until they ask to borrow my truck to save a dolphin.
