Dude, monsters U was funny as hell.
Despicable me 2 was also good for some laughs

My daughter bought the movie yesterday, and we've watched it 4 time since. I don't mind though-- I knew I was going to be subjected to it anyway, after seeing it in the movie theater with her.
When we walked out of the movie that day, she said she really really wanted it on DVD. I told her that it would be months before it was out, and asked if it was important enough to her, for her to save up her allowance and buy it.
She started saving that day, in anticipation of the release, and was very proud of having done so-- she had enough left over to get tiaras and princess wands for her and her little sister, and they had a binge-watch session after school yesterday.
I asked her this morning, as she got ready for school, if she had learned anything from this, and she said that it felt good to buy a thing for herself that she wanted ' for forever Dad!'-- and that Disney was overpriced.
Thus, the only sniffly bit for this dad, regarding Frozen, is how fast my little girl is growing up-- but I take comfort that she still is little enough to delight in a movie like Frozen.

I agree on overpriced, but I got Frozen for 15 bucks at Wally World. We took her to JATNP & Sophia around Christmas. The tickets weren't bad, but the POS toys they made sure to put right at the entrance/exit were ridiculous.
