Really scary this thing is rain wrapped. It's a monster on radar.

It is riding that warm front and has nothing to weaken it at this point.

Been busy today, where am I looking?

ETA: Found it. Pretty couplet on radar. Not words I'm ever glad to type.

It's hard to tell just from radar, and it's a little broad of a circulation (or just absurdly large).

That being said, I'd be crouched in my safe room if I was in the warned area.

it's heading east north east towards Norman. Should stay just south, but you never know with these things.

Last few frames on velocity look like it's broadening out. Maybe the rear flank downdraft is cutting off that powerful inflow, and it's HP so that is also helping to cool things off coming in.

Got a likely tornado forming up near Athens, Tx.

It's unfortunately in a good environment and kind of out there on its own.

ETA: looks like the cap is off put there, lots of storms starting to form up into a blob. So this one might not have a long shelf life.

I'm thinking it died out for the most part by the time it got to Norman. Glad Moore didn't get a scare though, you poor folks there catch too many bullets.

Anyone have any idea what's been up with TVN/Live Chasing app this week?

It's pretty much been off line most of the week.

Damn. Had no idea. That makes my heart hurt.

Hopefully they come back with a business model.

I'd pay for it.

Classic looking hook echo down SW of Dallas heading NE. Velocities not super impressive, but it looks the part.

Also violent couplet about Hawkins, Tx area. Almost certain large tornado under that.

Do you get anything out of RS Pro besides lightening that makes it worth it? I've read the tools but never pulled the trigger. I notice you use it.
