Ran out of b.p. medicine last Wednesday, Friday b.p. was 200/102 at one point. Retried thirty minutes later is was 190/90. Refilled the medicine and now it runs 160's/90's in the morning until the medicine kicks in, then it will go down to 130's/70's. I only take the b.p. med in the a.m.
I'm a bad snorer.
Do I need a higher dose or is the morning-only medicine regimen not sufficient.
And, I won't be lazy and delay refilling the RX again.

Did you try mentioning this to, I don't know, your doctor?

your bp can spike when not on your normal dosages

Blood pressure spikes in the morning as you wake up so it should be a little higher in the am. Uping your medication dose probably won't give you the drops needed to get to 120/80. Your doctor will probably need to add another medication to your existing meds
Eta, diet and exercise will also help to lower bp
