torsion would cause necrosis and if torsion pain unbearable. u would know if ur nut is twisted from the pain. cuts off blood supply.

I've had two hernias (one on each side of groin) but never had any GI problems like you mentioned. I've never heard of those issues accompanying a hernia.

This actually could very well be the case. Went to school with a kid who had somehow gotten his testicles twisted around. I remember him having stomach issues.. I guess similar to getting hit in the nads.
