Is this normal? I had the job done at by the dealership where I bought my truck and was wondering if I need to take it back or not?

You should call your husband at work and ask him

Probably need a new Johnson rod. Pretty common after a brake job actually. Will run about $350, give or take.

Take it back. They shouldn't be making noise.

Find an empty road and do some hard stops. Should take care of it.

Did you get cheap brakes or did you pay good money? Cheap brakes squeak no matter what you do.

A new power pole will correct the squeaking immediately

New brake pads. Not squeaking.

Your calipers slide on pins. If they're not lubed, it won't matter if your brake pads are made of vasoline. It'll squeak..

Sorry guys, was working lol.
The job costed $385 already and it's on a 2012 F-150.
I had heard doing a few hard stops may cure it, but wanted to be sure. I'd assume the ford dealership wouldn't put shitty brakes on there but who knows.

Try the hard stops if that doesn't fix it take it back and tell them to make it right.

I don't believe they touched the rotars. I had them turned in May. As far as I know only the pads were replaced.
