It honestly seems like a few people are being willfully irrational because they don't like this driver for whatever reason.
This is the moral of any thread posted about this topic.

Anyone who thinks Stewart did this on purpose needs their head examined.
How any rational person looking at that video can think it is in anyway Stewarts fault is beyond me.

I'm not sure anyone in this thread believes Stewart set out with intentions to hit the guy.
Maybe just a bob where the other thought they were weaving.

Can't believe this thread has gone on so long.
If I stopped in the middle of I-10, got out of my car, and someone hit and killed me, it would be my fault for getting out of the car.
How is this any different?
One would have to prove that Tony Stewart saw the driver out of his car, in the track, and purposely not try to avoid him; all the while said driver is not stationary but moving around.
No way.

One of the articles linked said that Ward shouldn't have tried going to the outside with the faster car. I don't understand racing when it doesn't include red and green shells, but it might be relevant. Idk.

The most important word out there, the guys with the most professional people to look at the most complete information. In spite of everything Grassy1 has opined I'm going to go with this:Sheriff reiterates that nothing yet supports charges vs. Tony Stewart
When his position changes so will mine.
Thx TigerFred.

at that speed I'd think a texting soccer mom in her mini van could have reacted better
Well, tomorrow night when you drive up to your house I'll put on my ninja outfit and jump out in front of your car and we'll see!
