I have a lifelong friend who is a hot shot trial attorney that says whenever he has to deal with another attorney that uses his first initial, he automatically assumes he is a pompous arse.

Theoretically a good idea. However, I've seen several of these cases, and at one of these guys having a "firm" and at one of these guys having insurance. But I guess you have to check.

i also am beyond cautious about crossing the advertising rules and all that. i take no chances

Did they relax these recently? I've started seeing the ads for "The Big Gun." I thought that was a major no-no.

i don't know i just try to be as overly cautious as possible in general b/c they drop the hammer on small firms
