OT Docs and Nurses... Urology question.

Asymptomatic Microhematuria?
Noticed blood tinged pee a few days ago (3-4). I am a nurse so I know that needs checking. I've had kidney stones twice the second could not pass but was lodged and pain free. Only reason I found that was passing a good bit of blood.
Not an idiot so I went to my GP. Still trace to moderate blood in urine. No longer visible to laymen. Had my CT scan. Worried I had another large stone. Nothing... ?
I DO have a left renal cyst (2.8cm) and stones IN the right kidney. Non-obstructive. My urologist is great but his office is massive and shitty. Called but waiting. While I stew over this until I can see the guy. What can it be?
1.Can a renal cyst periodically cause blood?
2. Can the stones in the kidney rattle around in the renal pelvis and cause the bleeding?
Got Tylenol with Codeine that I don't need. Got Flomax I don't want to take as there is nothing in the ureter, and I am concerned that Flomax may cause a sleeping dog stone to move and begin to bark. Already took Cipro on my own even though the UA is clean. Blood only. Negative protein. Negative Leuk Est.
What is the next step? With my second stone I got the cystoscopy and finger in the arse for prostate (I am 43). Cancer not likely as I am 43 and no family history.
I'm going to see my Uro regardless just wanted to pose these questions to the esteemed panel here. I know there are nurses and docs on this board all the time.
No recent trauma. I did start working out again, but I ain't exactly blowing shite up to the point of "runners hematuria".

Yes stones in your kidney can cause bleeding.
Probably not the cyst.
Persistent bleeding you need cystoscopy.
If negative you need a CT IVP

Had this last time. IV contrast CT. Is it a different protocol than just a IV contrast CT Abd/Pelvis? Timing of the injection to images? I can't recall what I had as my idiot mind had already raced to bladder cancer.

Largest stone seen in kidney was 6mm.
My last one that was surgical was 1CENTImeter!

You have hematuria, a history of renal stones and documented renal stones on a recent CT. This is 99% likely to be the cause.
I hope you aren't in the medical field; otherwise, you're pretty dense.

Correct.
It is what I have NOW. It is not what I had 4 days ago. It was visible. It now looks normal. Dipstick says no though.

Non obstructive. In the renal pelvis. I rarely see this in the ER. Only classic stone presentation with hematuria and the stone dance. I honestly was unsure if stones within the renal pelvis caused bleeding.
