For the last 4 days I have been exhausted, at first I thought I was just tired, but Im just staying exhausted. All I have really been able to do is sleep.
checked for fever on friday night and again today and my temp was 97.0. Should I just wait and see if I get better or should I go to the doctor? Immediately or wait until tomorrow.

No other symptoms, just exhaustion.

There's a plethora of drugs out there to cure exhaustion, from coffee to crystal meth to everything in between. It sounds like you're too lazy to take matters into your own hands and you're just waiting for some doctor to ride in on a white horse and solve all of your problems for you. Show some initiative.

As a future physician ... You'll do no good to your health or mental status posting here

Go visit with your primary care PHYSICIAN

Sounds like anemia. Nah you're good, don't go to the doctor. Just keep posting.

Temp of 97 really means nothing. Look up symptoms of hypothyroidism (low circulating thyroid hormone) and see if any fit.

Piss off. This is the first place anyone should go when seeking medical, legal or financial advice. If you haven't noticed the amazing counsel that gets doled out here, then you haven't been paying attention.

Have them check your iron levels and do some other blood tests. Could be low testosterone as well.

This is not an emergency but something you should definitely get checked out.

My love life, 40 time, and bank account has improved immensely since finding the OT. Chicken needs the Nobel Peace Prize.

I'm an official OT certified PHYSICIAN.

first thing, get a new thermometer, you're not 97.0 degrees.
You're exhausted because your body is fighting an infection of sorts. You could go to another type doctor, but this doctor here says to drink lots of fluids and keep eating. The other doctors will give you some silly prescription for antibiotics and some prescription for ibuprofen. Just go take some OTC tylenol, etc. and call me in the morning.

And lastly, get off your arse and get out and try to do something this afternoon and quit pouting around. Oh, and lose some weight, too.

You might possibly be anemic. Have you been passing blood in you stool? I had these symptoms and went for a colonoscopy one day and about 4 days later I had colon cancer surgery to have half my colon removed. Been cancer free for more than 2 1/2 years.

without knowing your age and history it's hard to know. You already seen to think you need to see a doctor. Follow your instincts.

Wife declined anal early in the relationship, haven't asked since.

No meds, generally healthy 33 year old. Probably overweight by OT standards, but otherwise fit.

Cancer scares the hell out of me. Hope to never have to face that.

My energy level seems to be coming back, survived my daughters birthday party, figured if I didnt pass out then I could make it until the doctor tomorrow.

Hopefully I can get an appointment tomorrow. Dont want to miss work, but well, what else would I do? Not gonna put it off. Father in law did that alot. Notice I said did.
