$26k on a west coast baseball game.

Was out at a bar in west palm beach, blue martini getting hammered with a buddy. About 1am, looked for a tv to check the ticker and the game was over. Don't even remember who it was, but had that one game tied into a shite load of parleys, reverses, turns, everything. If it had lost I think I would have broken even - that is how many different ways I had it bet in combinations.

I've got a buddy who has pulled over 500k commission in a single day and know several that hit 200k several times a year.

What's your biggest single day score and how did you earn it?

I'm thinking lawyers winning huge awards in lawsuits might win the day?

You realize those commissions and lawyers winning law suites are earned over a length of time and not in one day?

I've been paid huge commissions but I worked 6 months on the deal before we closed.

Yes I realize that. I've closed very large deals that have taken almost a decade to finalize.

So share your whale story????

I had a stock go up $29,000 in a day while in college, I had 1000 shares at $11 and when I woke up the next day it was at $40, which was pretty awesome but I didn't sell it all then. My biggest monthly check was in the low $40k but that included a quarterly bonus.

Listed a house for $825k in the morning......hot shot doc's wife came in around lunch......wanted to see it that pm.....I'm thinking sh'e blowing smoke when we walk in and she's like "this is it....the house I've always wanted." She wasn't kidding. Knocked down 6% of that $795k....the final sale price....sweet day!!!!

Yes it is income but you can write off gambling losses, as long as it isn't more than you win, so if you are smart you can make any winnings seem almost non-existent for the IRS.

So far, my one day record is $12.8K. Closed a $110K deal and $18K deal in the same day at 10% commission. It was nice but I never saw any of the money as it all went into a house down payment.

So after taxes you took home $32k.

C'mon man. Not sure how much of that goes to your agency but you gotta do better than that.

You may want to check your math.

6% on $795K = $47,700 minus taxes won't be that much higher than the $32K he stated.

Also, no agent gets the full 6% unless they are the broker/owner of the agency.

Well I guess about $60k when I sold my house.

Though, I wouldn't say I made that in one day - but neither did your friend. It was a single transaction though

I know some girls in the time share industry in Scottsdale that have had a few months close to that. What industry was that 40k in, if you don't mind me asking?

I am an OT poor, biggest single day income was around $3.5k.

Even though some of these responses involve more than one day's worth of effort I like hearing about big numbers. Lots of cheddar out there to be had.
