Downtown Pensacola can be fun and isn't that far. Whatever you do look into taking a cab or a party van. Or at least keep one person sober enough to drive. Cops will be everywhere.

I've almost been hit, and have seen people get hit a couple of times before. It is a legit piece of advice

If you leave now you'll never get through the tunnel in time.

Live Bait is kinda expensive, but they usually have a good band and the quality of poon is higher than anywhere else around

I just got back from down there. We ate at Nolan's on Saturday night and the food was fantastic. Nice bar area with a live band too.

Waffle House

That Canal place was cheap and stayed open until like 5am, but I heard the popo cracked down on that a couple of years ago

There was a 2-3 hour wait for the ferry on Sun a couple of weeks ago when I was down there

I know the guy that hit and killed the Okie State girl. Him and his family are good people. He obviously made an absolutely devastating decision and has to face the music though. It's been really rough on his whole clan. Obviously it's been more rough for the family of the girl he killed. Just a shitty, shitty situation.

Anywho, I will be down there with my gf her family, and lsuLyle. My buddy is playing drums at the Florabama with the DixieCocks on the 3rd and 4th. See yall there.

I'd go through Fairhope/Daphne and take the causeway to the "H" bridge and loop around Mobile.

if you head down the Causeway and go through the old tunnel (The Bankhead) and drive a few blocks into downtown, look for South Claiborne Street on your left. Its right on the side of The Holiday Inn.

anyway, turn left on Claiborne and follow the I-10 signs back onto the interstate.

that's if you don't want to loop around the whole town just to avoid the tunnel traffic.

i guess it depends on what time of day your heading back and traffic may still be a bitch even when you try and get back on I-10 but still... just another option to consider.
