Just ordered the Callaway 12 piece Strata set off the website. Looking to become a leisure golfer and was wondering if any of you in the know would have some thoughts on the purchase. Not trying to take it too seriously.

Thanks!

Not a bad idea to start, but when you get some skill you need to get some good clubs.

Go for it if it's for leisure and fun. Personally, I would start at the $500 range for irons. Not because I'm rich but because I'm mildly athletic.

I think the Adams makes the best bang for the buck for a serious beginner. Don't know much about callaway though. Imagine it'll get the job done for now

get a set of Callaway x-12's & call it a day. Buy a cheap used putter and a used driver and you're set. if you stick with it, you can upgrade driver, but those irons are solid.
