I was a daily smoker for 20 years since I was 16, switched to vapes and gummies last year. Then went gummies only for a few months and now weed free.

I can definitely tell that my mood is more level, no more extreme highs and lows. I also dream all night long now, when I was on weed I didn’t dream at all.

They say weed isn’t addictive but it definitely is, anything is addictive if you have the right personality for it. Anyone else ever quit weed for good? Looking for some success stories, I feel like a different person now but for the better.

Sucks you can’t change your username. Now you’ll always think about weed when you’re on here.

Not sure what it is but I've had more vivid dreams within the past few weeks than I have in a long time

When I've been dry, the first few weeks I would have the trippiest dreams.. some truly felt like out of body experiences.

good on you but that doesn’t mean “cannabis is addictive”. That means YOU are prone to addiction. pretty big difference

I’ve smoked for well over 20 years, almost 40. At no point has it ever become an addiction

True, I tried to qualify it with the personality comment. I definitely have an addictive personality, I get hooked on things good and bad. Sometimes I get hooked on going to the gym everyday, other times I get hooked on drugs.

I was a heavy user in high school, but in college, it started giving me panic attacks, so I quit. For me it wasn't hard, because it made me feel like shite. It's easy to give up something that makes you feel like shite.

Good for you. Weed is additive if you let it be.

I quit for about half a year a few years back and was definitely more focused and level.

There's a lot that caused me to take a long, hard look at myself and forced me to quit - I was popping an Oxycodone, drinking, and rolling a blunt every night getting absolutely trashed. I had to stop as I wasn't a healthy person and definitely wasn't taking care of myself.

Since then, I have gone from smoking 1.5 oz./month to about 3 oz./year. I very seldom smoke anymore, instead using my portable herb vaporizer.

The only reason I still use weed is because my body is pretty beat from service, especially my feet, and the weed definitely helps. That, and I'd much rather take a few puffs from my vape than take any pill. I don't mess with pills at all anymore. No Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Aleve or anything like that.

I smoked weed since 2016 after military. Quit in December. I can relate to all above. Keep going brother!
