Not with proper training. She didn't control the actual scene of the problem. The female that approached her took her attention and the guy got access to the driver during that time. She asked for space after the tazing. She should have demanded space before that.

This. She handled that horribly. She is incredibly lucky that taser deployment was effective and he listened to her afterwards, but that beating should’ve never happened. Just because something ended well doesn’t mean she handled it properly.
