Yes. They need to raise 70 million for this project and he is spearheading the fundraising effort.

Yea, this has been known for a while. It is a really good thing and will be a boon for BR. LA really needs a standalone children's hospital.

I see the one in BR having the additional benefit being affiliated with St. Jude as well as being a little more accessibility to the rest of the state.

We need another one. The BR metro area has almost 1million ppl in it and the rest of the state it is too hard to get to NOLA. Does Shreveport have one?

Oil price crash brah. The docs have their own private parking that is not pictured and LP's finest have traded in the F-250s and truck nuts for Nissan altima's and camo steering wheel covers

I don't think that would be a problem for a project like a Children's Hospital. I would imagine that 70 million would only be about 20% of the construction cost. Depending on the size of it.

LP parents will still need to bring their methbabies there. They will just have to drive a little farther and sit in BR traffic for a day and night to get there.

Very old news. This was talked about in the papers before the HVI tower project was completed a couple of years ago.

Map Location of new hospital
