Has this made it to the OT yet? Baw was an obscure country music artist in Virginia and has absolutely blown up on social media the past few days.
Favorite line is: “if you’re 5 foot 3, and 300 lbs, taxes ought not pay for your bags of fudge rounds”.

There's a big thread about it. Good song, Ds and Rs should be able to relate to it. He's calling out politicians, unfortunately white Ds are mad about it and defending DC from what I've been seeing.

He’s telling the truth, but at the same time he comes off like Ted Cruz which turns people off. Maybe the next line should be about government support and what the Louisiana Purchase card should actually let you buy on the taxpayers dime. I’m using Louisiana as an example because I don’t know what other states call it. He made a hit song that people are talking about, we’ll see if he can follow it up.

Nah. It's just a stupid song designed to get half-wits interest. Not real art. It's a folk version of what Nickleback does.

To be fair you're a white liberal and love politicians. It's good art, good song, Nickelback sucks, but this dude sings well. He probably doesn't have many options, or maybe he does well but just singing about the common person. You root for politicians while he roots for common people, no big deal, just differences between you and others.
