I have a book at home on my coffeetable of photos from 1867 in New Orleans.

None of them have cars visible

Photoshopped. There aren't piles of PolarPop cups, fast food bags, and empty cigarette packs everywhere.

Also, no beggars on every corner, no cars broken down in the middle of the road.

wow, Tulane looks like it's in the middle of a field.

The trees on Esplanade with no leaves as well - you don't see that much anymore with all these 80 degree falls and winters.
