Someone gave me a textbook from 1908. To scared to look too much at it because I don't want it falling apart on me. I remember it was talking about the quest to find the North Pole though.

Have several pre-Civil War. They were much smaller in size and print.

Physical copy.

For the guy who has the book from 1400s, is it leather bound? I was reading something about how it was considered an honor to bound books in the skins of deceased loved ones. They did a study of harvards library and they found a few books like that.

My friend bought me a copy of Old Man in New World by Olaf Stapledon from 1944. Stapledon is the author of my favorite book. It's only like 14 pages long and practically a pamphlet, but it's hardcover. It's pretty cool I think.

Medical texts. 1881. And a "Cottage Physician" from 1870's. It was the doctors book of home remedies of its day.

I am not a doc but an RN. Nursing texts are few and far between.

My dad has a second or 3rd edition of uncle Remus. 1896. Don't know if it's worth anything. Considering the stigma, probably not.
