I believe I'm set on getting one and looking for any and all input. I appreciate it and thank you all in advance, I'm trying to stay around 30k.

wait until end of model year and don't be too choosy about color and you can get a relatively good deal...

I have a chevy crew cab silverado and have been very pleased...it is easily the most practical vehicle I have ever owned...

Make sure the Salt Life and Yeti stickers are included in the purchase price.

For 30k, jack off the salesman for a Frontier. Tickle his arse a little bit too. Trucks are insane expensive.

For 30k you better be looking at a few years used or you better not care about having all the bells and whistles with it (leather, navigation, back up cam, etc)

Like someone said, new trucks are crazy expensive

Make sure you get a custom made sticker of your last name that covers the entire back glass. That's how people know you're classy. Or from Leesville. The former if you're actually from leesville, the latter if you aren't.

Let us know when you find a 2500 dually. Considering they aren't made now a 3500 dually I'd easy to fund but not anywhere near 30k

But here's the deal with the Tacoma; they're coming out with the Gen 3 next year.

The new GMC trucks are garbage. Go Toyota or Dodge.

Ford or Toyota - get slightly used if you have to in order to stay under budget.

If a Tacoma isn't too small/light, got with that - you'll never look back.
